At Cobham Veterinary Centre, our reception desk is open all day for any enquiries, appointment bookings and product purchases. For those waiting for appointments, we have a comfortable waiting area with a lot of pet products on offer, as well as advice leaflets and notices. We stock a wide range of high-quality, branded pet food. If there is something that you have been looking for but didn't find, ask us as we will get it for you, often by the next day. Please check-in with the receptionist when you arrive for your appointment, and remember to bring your cat in a secure cat carrier, and your dog on a lead!

Our consultation rooms are clean, well-maintained and fully equipped with everything necessary for routine examinations and consultations. We also have a second consultation room dedicated to nurse’s consultations. 

Our operating theatre is well-equipped with modern anesthetic machines and monitoring equipment. We use the safest human equivalent grade anesthetics for the safety and well-being of your pets. We can perform a wide range of procedures, from simple stitch-ups and neutering, through to lump removals, abdominal procedures and more complex exploratory operations. We have a modern x-ray facility on site enabling us to detect broken bones and problems such as hip dysplasia, chest abnormalities and abdominal problems. We have recently extended our diagnostic capability with the addition of an ultrasound scanner which can be used to detect pregnancy as well as abdominal or cardiac abnormalities.

Our dental unit is equipped with ultra-sonic dental descaling equipment. Through constantly swallowing bacteria, from decayed or dirty teeth, your pet could develop more serious internal problems, including organ failure. Our laboratory is equipped with a blood analysis machine enabling us to obtain vital information on a pet’s condition within about 10 minutes. We also use the excellent services of an outside laboratory for more complicated tests, and because of their twice daily courier and on-line reporting service, we can usually obtain results within 12-24 hours.

Should your pet need to be hospitalised for surgery, or for more intensive treatment and monitoring, we have comfortable kennels and cages available in all sizes.
